直接先講結論，由此報告的數據來看，我會考慮的購買方式：

• 公司 & 個人：HGST 4T (HMS5C4040BLE640)
• 註：HMS5C4040BLE640 型號似乎找不到可以購買的，直接考慮 HGST 4TB 即可。

2018 Q3 的報告內容：Enterprise vs. Consumer Hard Drives: 2018 Hard Drive Performance Review，下述摘錄於此篇：

Lifetime AFR as of Q3 2017

– 8 TB consumer drives: 1.1% annualized failure rate
– 8 TB enterprise drives: 1.2% annualized failure rate

Lifetime AFR as of Q2 2018

– 8 TB consumer drives: 1.03% annualized failure rate
– 8 TB enterprise drives: 0.97% annualized failure rate
– 8 TB consumer (model: ST8000DM002): 6,395,117 drive days
– 8 TB enterprise (model: ST8000NM0055): 5,279,564 drive days
– 8 TB consumer (model: ST8000DM002): Range 0.9% to 1.2%
– 8 TB enterprise (model: ST8000NM0055): Range 0.8% to 1.1%

2018年 Q3 和 5年統計的資料

• 前面是 2018 Q3 的數字， → 後的是累計5年的數字
• HGST 4T (HMS5C4040BLE640) 0.26% → 0.6% (建議購買此品牌與型號)
• HGST 4T (HMS5C4040ALE640) 0.41% → 0.6%
• Seagate 8T (ST8000NM0055) 0.67% → 1.1%
• Seagate 6T (ST6000DX000) 0.87% → 1.3%
• 註：Seagate 10T (ST10000NM0086)、Toshiba 4T,5T 和 WD 3T,4T 都是 0% - 不過這個樣本數都比較少
