Google 宣佈他們的「智能電郵」系統 Inbox 將要玩完了…

如果你跟編輯一樣是 Google Inbox 的死忠用戶，那麼以下的消息應該夠你傷心一陣子了。因為 Google 宣佈將會在 2019 年 3 月正式把 Inbox 結束，這個智能式的電郵系統正式玩完。怎麼每次編輯喜歡上的 Google 服務都會倒掉，當年的 Google Reader 仍然是我們心目中無可取代的 RSS 服務啊！

Google 早於 2014 年開發出 Inbox ，這是作為 Gmail 以外的一個實驗系統，但是可以與 Gmail 及其他服務完全同步，他們的賣點就是可以智能的推送電郵，讓用家花時間在最重要的事務上面，亦可以進行事件提醒等等，可以說是一代智能電子郵件系統，喜歡它的用家亦不少。但當中有一些實用的功能例如「智能回覆」(Smart Replies) 及 Unified Inbox 已經移到 Gmail 裡面了，而當中採用的人工智能系統亦大幅改變了用戶習慣。

Google 在他們的網誌中寫：

Four years after launching Inbox in 2014, we’ve learned a lot about how to make email better—and we’ve taken popular Inbox experiences and added them into Gmail to help more than a billion people get more done with their emails everyday. As we look to the future, we want to take a more focused approach that will help us bring the best email experience to everyone. As a result, we’re planning to focus solely on Gmail and say goodbye to Inbox by Gmail at the end of March 2019.

他們終於發現 Inbox 跟新版本的 Gmail 有點重覆了，但要離開 Inbox 還是有點不習慣，大家有同樣的感覺嗎？
