MIUI 官方在早前的更新之中，正式從 MIUI 固件之中移除了 Google apps 的應用，當中包括了 Google Play 商店、Google Maps、GMail 等等。
官方解釋移除 Google Apps 的原因是附合中國相關法例，但又在官方論壇釋出名為「Google Installer」的應用幫助用戶重新安裝。
「Google Installer」包括以下應用：
Google Play 商店
谷歌地圖 Google Map
谷歌瀏覽器 Chrome
谷歌郵箱 Gmail
Google Search
Google 日曆
谷歌翻譯 Google Translate
Google+
環聊 Hangouts
Voice Search
谷歌拼音輸入法

谷歌雲端硬盤
谷歌雲筆記 Google Keep
Google Reader
谷歌圖形搜尋 Goggles
Google 語音
Gesture Search
谷歌新鮮匯 Google Currents
